Position Paper

A position paper is a formal writing that discusses your country’s stance on the current topic. The position paper should be structured in a paragraph form in which a delegate should explicitly explain their country’s stance with information about the topic that they have been given.

The position paper that is written by the delegate must be well organized as you will have to submit it to your chair. Many position papers do not get read due to their poor structure and organisation of information. So, make sure that it has a lot of information related to the topic with a good structure.

Position papers can occasionally be very beneficial for delegates to find clauses while writing their resolution paper.
